Description
You feel this cabin before you ever open the front door. Beneath a canopy of mature trees, stone paths wind through gardens and mountain greenery toward an authentic log home that has been part of Sundance for nearly 50 years.
This isn’t a newly built cabin trying to recreate the Sundance experience. It’s part of it. Massive logs and extraordinary beams carry decades of history and character—beautifully renewed while preserving what makes this home irreplaceable.
A separate guest house, The Sanctuary, is located above the attached garage and may be occupied during your stay. Both homes have completely private interiors and entrances, while the hot tub, grill and some outdoor areas are shared. Traveling with a larger group? The Sanctuary can also be rented with the cabin, adding private accommodations for up to four additional guests.
Inside, a gorgeous modern kitchen opens into what may be our favorite dining room at Sundance—surrounded by windows and forest, it feels like dining among the trees. Private bedrooms offer quiet retreats, while beautifully remodeled bathrooms include a tub for soaking with a view toward Mt. Timpanogos.
Three dedicated workstations offer space and privacy for longer stays, with high-speed internet making remote work easy.
Throughout the cabin, authentic Native art and historic pieces tell another layer of its story, including a remarkable full-size Alaskan totem pole with recognizable traditional forms. These aren’t simply decorations—they’re part of the soul and collected character of the home.
Outside, wander through gardens, stone patios, water features, covered porches and decks beneath the trees. Gather around the powerful gas fire pit on a cold mountain evening or unwind in the shared hot tub.
We thoughtfully stock the cabin with quality scent-free toiletries and household essentials, so arriving feels easy.
Come for Sundance. Stay somewhere that’s part of its story.
