Just another incredible vacation week at Hideaway. Pamela and Lynn’s cabin is always so welcoming. We had thee best time on the mountain from hikes to Stewart Falls and Bearclaw, to drinks and dinner at The Owl and Foundry.
If you want a bit of excitement, the Zip Line never disappoints. The lift up the mountain alone is just spectacular.
Always look forward to our time at Sundance and if you have a chance to visit with either Pamela or Lynn, they just add a special touch. Great people, a great mountain, and always the best vacation. Thank you, Pamela and Lynn, for sharing your special place.

Beautiful & peaceful setting! Right on the river, with Adirondack chairs, outdoor dining, and hot tub with a gorgeous view, sound of water, smell of pine. Home is so comfortable, inviting, and clean. Lots of thoughtful details, including comfy robes, outdoor towels, good coffee maker, lots of towels, pillows, & blankets. So cosy! Great communication & easy detailed instructions. Benefits of Sundance & Provo River nearby without having to camp or stay at resort. Great stay with girlfriends & we look forward to returning.

While we couldn’t have known we would luck out and pick the best snow weekend of the year to stay here, this place’s eclectic, nostalgic vibe is just amazing. The kids thought it was magical with old Swiss charm and plenty of room to spread out. The ski closet made gearing up and down so easy. The hot tub was a hit. It’s just the coziest family getaway. Already planning a return trip.

We had a wonderful stay. The hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and our concerns. It’s a lovely little cabin and we would definitely stay again. The hotter was amazing under the stars. The wood burning fireplace was so cozy. The place was clean and just as described. Be prepared to haul your belongings down a TON of stairs. The stairs were a workout, and not for the weary, but it was a great and beautiful hike down them to the cabin. They were free from all snow and lit up very well at night. They were truly not a problem for us. I definitely recommend this place!!

Beautiful cabin by the river. A great horned owl hung out on a branch while we were enjoying the jacuzzi. Very cozy cabin with wood provided for the wood burning stove.

Beautiful cabin and beautiful surroundings! Absolutely loved the hot tub and the fireplace! The other thing that we love was the fact that we could have our dogs there, which is very helpful being that one of our dogs is diabetic. It’s very hard to find someone that we could trust to take care of our dogs while we are out of town. This is not a complaint but just a fair warning to others that will stay there …the stairs to the loft bedroom are very steep. This cabin was perfect for a relaxing weekend with my wife for our anniversary!! We hope to stay again!!
Beautiful place. Nice location of the hot tub. The fireplace was fun. I think there are 62 steps to get down just for reference. I didn’t mind it, but its nice to know.

The cabin was gorgeous—cozy, clean, and surrounded by stunning nature. Pamela, our amazing host, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. A perfect getaway! Can’t wait to return!

This is our third time staying at this cabin. If you can handle the stairs it’s well worth it. We love the location and that our dogs can come too.
We loved this place and highly recommend! The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because there is construction going on adjacent to the property. It didn’t bother us, on the most part, but want to make future guests aware. The sounds did interrupt our daughter who was trying to take a Sunday nap in the loft with windows open. And there were a couple other sound issues at times. One of the pluses mentioned by the listing and guests is how secluded and peaceful this place is, but right now there is this project going on. Other than that we truly loved it. The cabin is extremely clean, well stocked and comfortable. So many towels, blankets, and supplies in the kitchen. The hot tub is great. The only other issue might be that there is one bathroom for the number of beds. We had 6 people there, and did fine with one bathroom, but could be an issue. As mentioned, lots of stairs; stairs to the loft are steep. Again, not an issue for us. Overall, we would definitely stay again!

This was my 5th time visiting Sundance in the last 5 years…all with Pamela and Lynn and their beautiful cabins.
Each year gets better and better as we get to know the mountain. This year, we were able to get to Bearclaw, ride the zip-line, and venture out on some additional trails which were just breathtaking.
Just an incredible place, where you’re able to get away and feel one with nature and all she has to offer.

Beautiful getaway spot that’s in such a bucolic setting! We did a few different hikes around the area that were only a 5 minute drive away. Hot tubbing during a light snow was another highlight. This was the second time we’ve stayed here and we’d definitely come back!
This location is beautiful! The cabin was perfect for our family, well stocked, great beds. We had some major travel issues with Amtrak and rental cars. Pamela was so helpful and accommodating while our plans were changing. Amazing hospitality and customer care! Perfect location for skiing at Sundance!
We had a fantastic stay – the cabin has the perfect layout for a relaxing, enjoyable trip to Sundance. Every detail has been thought of, from plenty of towels for the hot tub, robes and blankets to stay warm, fire wood, a well stocked kitchen (in terms of cookware)… this place has it all! This was not our first time staying here, and it won’t be the last.

One of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at. Perfect for mine and my boyfriend’s anniversary. It had a warm and cozy home feeling.

We had a lovely time. The location was beautiful. The home was just as we expected it to be plus a lot of unexpected bonuses. Such as the robes for the hot tub and the wood/fire starter for the fireplace.
I do have to say that the stairs were extremely steep. I didn’t feel comfortable with my almost-3-year-old going on the stairs at all. I think we all fell multiple times on them. Just something for you to think about if you’re planning on elderly or young people being in the loft.
Overall, I 100% recommend.
Absolutely loved our romantic stay at Mountain Cabins. Loved the stream, hot tubbing at night, cosy cabin feel. Absolutely would come to stay again. The host was incredibly friend as we met him on our way out. Truthfully the place was a little slice of heaven.

Wonderful Cabin. Well stocked, even had bathrobes for the hot tub. Comfortable beds and pillows. Extra blankets very accessible. Breath taking scenery, right by a stream. The deck is amazing. Very peaceful and relaxing. Very close to Sundance resort. It was a bit hard to find in the dark, but very easy in the daylight. We loved our time here.

Great for a summer/fall getaway! Nestled amongst several much newer mansions, this perfectly sized cabin provides a private and rustic experience that appears rare for the neighborhood. I can still hear the stream echoing in The back of my mind. I did not want to leave, had visions of growing my beard, chopping and stacking wood to survive the winter!

Great property by the river and close to Sundance Resort. Cabin as described. Enjoyed the hot tub. Comfortable beds and can hear the river from the cabin when windows are open.

This is a lovely little cabin sitting right above a beautiful little stream. The cabin is well appointed and clean. The one bathroom and the kitchen are modern. (The stairs to the loft are half the size of normal steps, just fyi.)
There are 60 steps down to the cabin. Because the cabin is not on the road, it was hard to find the first time, especially since the house numbers on Timphaven Road are in no rational order. From the parking pad, you take those 60 steps down.
The photos don't really show it, but there are cabins all around your cabin. Two cabins were being built when we stayed there, so there was construction noise from sun-up to sundown. You might want to ask if there's still construction going on before booking. Last, there was a freak internet outage for one day and since there's no cell service at the cabin, we were really cut off. (Tip: The LR light remote only works if the fan switch is on.)
Overall, a good stay with good memories and responsive hosts.
