We had such a beautiful stay. it’s really fun how many little Hangout place is there are at this property. So even though we were only there for like 18 hours we packed in a bunch of little memories. This Airbnb was so thoughtfully prepared. between refilling the propane tanks and having robes to get to the hot tub and back and reading lights. This place is a darling gem. I would totally rent this place again.

The tranquility of the setting provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet it was conveniently close enough for quick trips into town. The property is ideally situated just a short 3-minute drive from Sundance, where we found delightful restaurants and a cozy bar featuring an outstanding live band, adding to our memorable experience. The house itself was spotless and exuded a warm, cozy ambiance that made us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the small stream beside the house, offering a soothing, natural soundtrack that enhanced our connection to the great outdoors. Overall, it was a wonderfully relaxing retreat, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a serene getaway with the convenience of nearby amenities.

We loved everything about our stay!! Absolutely gorgeous inside and out!! The sound of the river was an amazing highlight, along with the beautiful patios to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We really enjoyed doing a few “polar plunges” in the river followed by the nearby hot tub! Loved getting to meet the gracious owner and learning a bit about the cabins. Amazing craftsmanship. What a memorable Mother’s Day weekend getaway. Hope to be back soon!

Was an amazing weekend

The Carriage House is a beautiful little guest house – the cabin was well crafted and well appointed, it was very clean and comfortable, and the proximity to the rushing creek provided a peaceful and calming soundtrack to my little retreat from the city. Additionally, Pamela was a very communicative, attentive, and friendly host. This being the fourth Airbnb I’ve stayed at in the Sundance area in the last few years, I will say that it felt the least private, as there were other houses, parked cars and/or construction workers close by and visible out of each window/deck. But, it was also the most affordable place I’ve stayed at in Sundance – so, as long as you’re not looking for a “fully immersed in nature” kind of experience, I would say it’s totally worth it!!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. It was exactly what we were looking for. The sound of the water was soothing and the cabin created a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. Everything was clean and the amenities were nice. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay. It was beautiful and a perfect location. It was the best birthday weekend getaway for my husband and I. Very close to the mountain and great restaurants close.

The carriage house was amazing! My girlfriend and I stayed for a couple of nights and enjoyed the fire pits and hot tub. The bed was super comfortable and the space was cozy. Highly recommend staying here for a little getaway and would love to come back.

Pamela’s place was such a beautiful and relaxing spot to get away. She was very communicative and helpful, and we had no issues during our stay. It was in a nice, private street but a short drive to the resort. Would definitely love to stay again if I’m back in the area.

Definitely worth the price! Very great hosts with plenty to do around the area. Recommend a rental car. Surrounding towns down the mountain. Lovely stream going 24/7 through the town and great cold weather! The hot tub is great and such a relaxing time. We booked from Hawaii and Pamela did great with the time difference and making sure we knew what we needed for our travel up to the mountain. Very easy check out with a good amount of easy to understand instructions. Would 100% come back very beautiful. The outside porch propane fire places are also great to sit at during the night with the snow and running water. Beautiful place overall with a beautiful bathroom! No complaints at all!

I cannot say enough about our incredible stay at this charming cabin in Sundance, Utah! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking mountain views and the peaceful, serene atmosphere. The cabin itself was immaculate and beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern comforts. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—cozy furnishings, heated floors throughout the cabin, and a crackling fire pit that made our evenings unforgettable. We especially loved the large windows that let in so much natural light and offered stunning views of the surrounding forest. The host was exceptional, providing clear communication and great recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. We were having trouble with turning on the fire pit and we got hands on help from the host to turn it on properly. WOW! This cabin was the perfect escape from our busy lives, and we left feeling recharged and inspired. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely amazing property.

The cabin was beautifully built of exquisite materials. The friendly roar of the creek made it feel like we were on an island. It was a very short drive to Sundance Resort for meals. We were informed at about 7:00 pm on our second (last) night that the power would go off at midnight for about 6 hours. The power came back on at a little after 10 the next morning. We were not sure if there would be hot water or not, so we took very quick, dark morning showers and then sat outside on the sweet little deck over the creek, close to the gas fireplace, with the coffee we fetched from the resort. (Thankfully, the power was on there, and our neighbors all seemed to have power as well.) This is not an isolated home in the woods, as the neighbors are all quite close, yet we did not feel that we lacked privacy. It was rainy yet still cozy and sheltered on the deck. There are actually two decks, both with gas fire pits and comfortable chairs. What an amazingly designed little cabin!

This place is wonderful! It is one of the most beautiful cabins I have seen, and the nature around it is gorgeous. I have already recommended it to friends and family and would totally book it again.

Relaxing and romantic stay for our wedding anniversary. This cabin is beautiful and next to a stream near Sundance. It’s walkable to Sundance Resort. Our stay was excellent. Amenities were wonderful, and the host was great. Views were beautiful from every window and balcony. Just remember there isn’t a stove. We used the grill, and it was great. The fire pits off of both balconies were nice in the morning and at night. What really stood out to me was the superior craftsmanship of this cabin. No detail was overlooked. It felt very custom, high-end, and luxurious. Very sturdy and solid. The railings and stairs felt extremely safe. I was impressed with everything , and would love to come back sometime.

My husband and I were looking for a beautiful spot near Sundance to unplug for a few days and this was the perfect choice! Absolutely wonderful! The stream is right outside the door and the neighborhood was quiet and charming. We had a wonderful time. Quick note: the hot tub mentioned is across the creek at the main residence. It isn’t located at or private to the carriage house. We didn’t realize that from the photos beforehand. 🙂 Still a wonderful time regardless!

What an absolutely amazing place to call home for a couple of days. The scenery and sound of the river provided the perfect backdrop for my wife and I to just relax and recharge. Great hosts and worth the price of admission.

We loved sitting on the deck with the firepit going while having our coffee in the morning. Being right next to the rushing river was really fantastic. It was pretty chilly in the cottage as the thermal floor heating was not working. The owner provided a good space heater, but we felt chilled and had to wear shoes at all times. Overall, it’s a unique spot to spend a couple days if you want to check out Sundance – just remember to bring slippers! We highly recommend dining at The Tree Room in Sundance Resort.

The cabin was in the most beautiful location. It was so quiet and peaceful. Probably the most serene trip we’ve been on so far. There were lots of hiking trails and you could walk to the resort for meals, exploring and shopping at the general store. We will definitely go back!

A special cabin retreat up in the mountains. There is a decent amount of space for two couples but it is ideal for just one, with the rushing stream right below and running through the property, one can truly relax and embrace the serenity of this mountain gem. I was there in the shoulder season when most things are quiet and closed down, but it was still such a pleasure to rest and reset here.

Super beautiful cabin and location. We were very excited by the hot tub and outdoor shower, however while these are available for use they were at the main cabin which was at the hosts house. They were available for use and it does specify in the description so this was our fault. The pictures just made it seem like the hot tub and shower were at this cabin so please be aware next traveler!

My wife and I stayed here on the first couple nights of our honeymoon and it was just PERFECT! Super cozy and had the best mountain cabin feel. The hot tub is located at the main house, so we didn’t end up using. But absolutely would recommend staying here! Also Sundance has a beautifully cozy resort with an AMAZING restaurant (the Foundry Grill) that was our absolute favorite!

Such an amazing experience. If you are on the fence about booking this place, do it! I’m sure if it’s very snowy, you probably want a capable 4wd vehicle for a worry free experience. But this was such an amazing stay. Everything was as described and beyond. The river in the back yard was absolutely amazing to listen to during the stay. I felt very well taken care of and I’ll 100% be back as soon as I can.

Beautiful property! The stream right outside is very impressive and wonderful to hear the water running. Don’t be confused, the property is not private or isolated. There are cabins very very close surrounding it. It could have been the time of year we were there but there was construction equipment going from 8am-5pm each day, and very loud. It’s a beautiful cabin, immaculately done. Wonderful bed and interior. The hot tub is very nice as well! It’s a great stay, just know the area is populated

Overall, the place was great. We weren’t prepared for no stove, but that was on me for not reading the full description. There was outdoor maintenance going on during our stay that made the area a little less pleasant (like looking out the window at the creek to see a man in a bright orange vest and a partial moon 🍑). The fireplaces also would not start, and we didn’t want to mess with the propane tanks so that was one less amenity we could take advantage of. All-in-all, it was still a nice little reprieve in the woods.

We had a great time. The bed was amazing and so compfy. Everything was nicely labeled so I knew exactly where to find everything. The house was greatly insulated because we couldn’t hear the creek just outside. We enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was beautiful! Very peaceful location by the river as well. The cabin heating does take a few minutes to warm up, so bring a blanket or a jacket and get comfortable!
