Here’s our local’s bucket list of things you might like to see and do when you visit Sundance, Utah and stay at any of our vacation cabins at Mountain Cabins Utah.
If you’ve explored the Year Round Activities and Sundance Events pages, you’ll have noticed there’s so much to do here in the summer on our mountain and nearby mountains. Below is just a short list of our “can’t miss” activities. Looking for something else? Let us know, and we’ll help you find it! We prefer not to leave our mountain too frequently, so we know all the beautiful places and unique activities that you just won’t find anywhere else.

Most fun ever. Size, age and height requirements.#5 Ride the Scenic Chairlift – Full moon lift rides are available on select dates.Bucket list item #6 Dine with the Bearclaw Supper Club at the top of the mountain with a 360° view, cocktails, live music, and dinner. Seasonal.#7 Throw a pot at the Sundance Art Studio — But contact the resort for details first!
Bucket list item #8 Take a scenic drive to Cascade Springs, and enjoy a short walk through a beautiful setting.#9 Float the Provo River in tubes.Bucket list item #10 Enjoy World Class Blue Ribbon Fly Fishing on the Provo River just five minutes away!#11. Experience mountain biking. Rent bikes at Sundance Resort and ride the lift to the top.Bucket list item #12. Golf in Midway, UT at the Wasatch Mountain State Park, or the Homestead Golf Course or Soldier Hollow.#13. Stop on your Alpine Loop, and hike to Timpanogos Caves National Monument. Good hike with great results.Bucket list item #14. Drive over the Alpine Loop for spectacular views, aspen groves, and wildflowers. Don’t forget your camera!#15. Enjoy horseback riding through one of the best scenic trail systems in the world.Bucket list item #16. Take in a show at the Sundance Summer Outdoor Theatre with BBQ dinner available.
